Every business has a beginning and mine originated growing up in San Diego. My parents provided every opportunity to enjoy outdoor life to the fullest. After sidetracking and co-founding a technology company, it was time to get back to my roots. Shortly after our children were born I introduced Avery & Dax to rock climbing. I then began enhancing my skillset pursuing the AMGA rock & alpine guiding track. Our children are competitive rock climbers and Avery recently set a few world records on Kilimanjaro; she's a total boss.
When the opportunity presented itself to move our family to Alaska there was little hesitation. It didn't take long before we knew this was home. Now back into the familiar throws of company start-up mode, I began working diligently on plans to provide the community of Soldotna and catch area an amazing, family friendly, climbing gym & multi-use facility.
Xplore climbing will offer a family friendly environment bringing sport climbing, bouldering, kids climbing, birthday parties, ice climbing (seasonal), training & fitness facilities, professional guiding & instructional clinics, yoga, and sports massage therapy to the Kenai Peninsula. Our Café & Espresso bar will serve up delicious whole-foods, juices and coffee to our patrons.
